About West Palm Beach Downtown Neighborhood Association

With homelessness being the number one "most challenging" issue in the downtown, The Downtown Neighborhood Association wants to help do our part in addressing this the best way we know how.  Over the last few years the DNA has hosted various speakers from The Lord's Place, St. Ann's and The Homeless Coalition of PBC at our general meetings.  All three of these organizations work to address the issue at a local level in various ways.  All are privately funded.

The Lord's Place not only provides housing for the homeless to help them get back on their feet, but also job training, education and coaching for securing and maintaining employment.  The DNA has supported The Lord's Place for several years, and will do so again this year at the upcoming sleepout. Last year The Lord's Place provided supportive housing to 337 individuals, including 51 families.  By the end of the year 94% of our their clients were no longer homeless.

Please do not wait until the event do sign up and help the WPBDNA hit its goal to raise $1,500 - There is no one solution to helping get people off our streets, but this organization has a proven track record by helping alleviate the homeless in our city.
